need to delete vertical lines in audio tracks

need to delete vertical lines in audio tracks

I have a bunch of vertical lines in the audio tracks that I want to delete.  They seem to be defining regions.
 
How do I get rid of them?

    They are guide lines for the grid. If you go to the 'View' menu there is an option as a submenu toward the bottom which will disable these. Sorry I cant be more specific but I'm not at my DAW right now.
