Stolen Equipment, Vancouver Area

A guy I (only sort of) know had a bunch of stuff stolen from his home studio, including a treasured guitar. Here is the Craigslist ad with a link to all the stolen gear.

http://vancouver.en.craig...ds/msg/2449158332.html

You never know where this stuff may turn up, so I appreciate the good people here (at least those in the Vancouver, B.C. and immediate surroundings) keeping an eye out for any of this stuff.

Even though I barely know the guy I would still like to see him get his stuff back.

I hate thieves!

I hate thieves, too.  I wouldn't expect to see anything in California, but I wish you good luck.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

We had a high school teacher in London ON get his house trashed and things stolen as well...they ended up finding his stuff in a Detroit pawnshop...gold all melted down....

Went through a similar episode 4 years ago. Thieves suck. I'm just south of you so I'll keep an eye out.

I checked and will continue to check the local sites in Dallas. Sorry to hear of such things happening.  Will pass on to other boards I frequent.

This happened to a friend of mine as well several years ago.  There's no way to describe just how bad it feels.  I'm hoping the bastard reads that ad then he'll have to live with what he did.

So what the heck is happening to that "other" Vancouver???  (I used to live in Vancouver WA and currently live in the city next to it.)

First riots after losing the Stanley Cup, now looting?  I've always heard about how NICE it was up there!  Ahh... I feel so disillusioned...

Really depressing. The guy lost a memory and keepsake to this thief. I only hope the internet will actually work and assist in getting back this guy's guitar. Wish him the best of luck.

I'd be devastated.....but that's a great idea to advertise the theft with the descriptions of his gear and put it on Craigslist....I hope he gets caught & punished!!
