In Tenderness He Sought Me-Colab in the Works Updated 6/24

Still putting it together but I really enjoy Robs Vocal work on this.  Will update as progress goes on with tracks, FX and the actual mixing.

Hope you enjoy and feel free to leave comments.

    Hey Mike
I'm not sitting at a great pair of speakers so I can't comment much on the mix. I really enjoyed this piece. The acoustic sounds awesome as does the vox. I like the verb or space your using really gives this piece a live vibe. GREAT JOB!

    Thanks Kev,
Ive been beating around and thats kinda what Im thinking about projecting, the Live Sound with multiple acoustic guitars placed left right and centered, drums kinda back a lil in the mix and worked across the stereo field with the vocals up front.  Plan on working the final both ways to see what the difference will be between live and standard productions.

By the way, Love your Website Progress.  Very Nice!!!

Wonderful song! Good vox and lyrics! I liked the chords used and the playing on the acoustic..wish you had used a mic, along with the DI sound, but still sounds good vey good Mike.

    Thanks Larry, Herb and Janet

This was created back in the 1800s I believe Spencer Walton. Wonderful lyrics.

Larry, Im fairly new getting back into playing and recording. Been away from it since the mid 80's and its all a new world.  What do you mean by mic' with DI sound?  Thanks

Hey Mike. The acoustic sounds like you plugged it directly into your interface/soundcard/preamp. (that's what my ears are telling me..I could be wrong) DI = Direct Input.  By using a microphone to record the acoustic, along with the plugged in guitar, (at the same time) you can blend in the signals to produce different tones. I like the 'natural air' of a mic'd acoustic. How did you record the guitar on this song??

Ah,  I see.  Kinda figured it was direct or digital. Yeh it went from guitar into interface. Im just getting into trying both to see what it produces with all the posts on it. Lots of good info on doing it.

    Thanks again Larry.

Rob have such a nice voice!  Around 0:48, that note sounded that he was struggle to reach it.  But in 1:36 he hit it better.

However, it is such a beautiful song!  I can feel the raw emotions that went into it.
