Worked on a couple tunes tonight. My video card started acting up a while ago and I finally got around to replacing it. I yanked it out and put in my old Geforce 9500. That's an awesome card, never should have replaced it in the first place. It was weird, whenever I would scroll with my mouse I would get static out of my right monitor. Funny, it was a fanless video card and the 9500 has a giant fan on it and it's quieter than the fanless one because my case fans don't kick in to high speed anymore. Took my DAW out in the garage and blew it out with my air compressor while I had it apart. Amazing how much dust get's in those things over time. Rained today so didn't get anything done in the yard. Did it all yesterday actually. Pruned all the trees, weed whacked, anchored some leaning trees, cut down a dead tree and pulled the stump with my tractor. Looks like a million bucks. With all this rain I'll have to mow and weed whack in a couple days again already.
Apologies for the rambling, I'm a little bored.
So what are you up to Mooch? How's things in Chicagoland?

Have you been turning on all your gear at once Mooch? I talked with two vendors this week from Chicago who have had power outtages. I just want to make sure that their suffering is for a good reason (trying out the World's Largest Popcorn Popper would probably count as well).

the AC unit upstairs (where my office & studio are located) went out yesterday afternoon.
A call to the guy who installed it..... and this morning.... a new starting cap and top off the freon, and we're back in conditioned air......
Now my wife said the automatic dishwasher was making strange noises.....
