Individual drum outputs in Kontakt 4 Player to individual tracks in GTP 4
I have a project in Guitar tracks Pro 4 and I'm using AR 70's Drums in Kontakt 4 Player.I want to rout the individual drums to their own tracks,I've tried to follow the directions in the Kontact 4 manual and I've wached some tutorials on You Tube but,I can't seem to figure it out.I can get everything set-up in Kontakt but,getting the individual tracks set-up in GTP 4 is giving me trouble.I'm using a Linr6 UX2 for my soundcard and Kontakt 4 Player is the only softsynth I'm running.

1) when you insert Kontakt player, do you choose the 'Kontakt 16' option?
2) if so, at the bottom of the mixer view in Kontakt is each channel, and a little button marked 'Conf' - press this and you can then set the output of each channel to a different figure (these will be in stereo groups) - ie kick to output 1+2, snare to 3+4 etc...
however this will only work if Kontakt has created multiple audio tracks in GTP first (AFAIK)

I choose the Kontakt 8 out option.I did it once and only 2 of the stereo outs had any sound coming out of them 1/2 and 3/4.I tried to set up the rest of the outputs but,had no luck. When trying to set thhe outputs within Kontakt the only options I'm given are st.1 and st.2,even when I try to do mono channels.I've seen it done in videos and it looks easy but,I'm having alot of trouble.I don't see a little button anywhere marked "conf".

This is what happens.I create a new project in GTP,I insret a synth track(Kontakt 8 out or 16 out) either 4 or 8 audio tracks and one midi track appears.Then only one or 2 stereo tracks have sound coming from them.When I try to set the rest of the outputs in Kontakt and the inputs in GTP,I get confused.The only outs I get in Kontakt are st1,st 2,and aux 1 thru 4 or aux 1 thru 16.I get confused by the input options in GTP when using Kontakt 8 out or 16 out.

If I can't figure this out,I'll just process and mix my drums from inside of Kontakt

hmm. when you insert soft synth, are you choosing the 'all synth outputs' option in the dialogue box which comes up?
if inserting kontakt 8, 8 audio tracks should be created (which are actually 4 stereo pairs) and double that in kontakt 16. if those are happening, then you should then be able to send the outputs of each drum within kontakt to a different output (when clicking on 'config' button)
if you do manage to get it working, make sure you save it from within Kontakt so the routing automatically happens next time you load that kit in a different project!

Yes,I'm choosing "all synths out".I tried to set this up this morning again and,when I chose "Kontakt 8 out",4 stereo pairs and a midi track showed in GTP.I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if I missed something when installing the Kontakt 4 Player or GTP4.The most luck I've had with this is getting 2 stereo pairs to work,all of the tracks will be present but only 2 of them have audio coming out of them.

hmm, ok i will try and post some screen shots later, but in work this morning. i'm assuming it's not just a 'lite' stereo drum kit you've got loaded in Abbey Road?

I'm using the Tea Towl template,its not a lite kit.Could that be part of the problem?
