Why Is this Happening ? CW PLS READ

As some of you that have been following me will no that I have been having the worst time as of late with X1.. Last night I decided to use X1 again I haven't been working with X1 just cause X1 has not been stable at all.. This is subject  to me and only subjective to Sonar X1 and me, 8.5.3 has never had this happen so i highly doubt its user error or hardware or setup.
 Now besides X1 being a resource HOG with groove clips, I cant' audition loops for more that 20 mins in the browser before I get an out of memory crash.. I can have zero work done, all I have to do is load up X1 go to the browser and start to audition loops, if I dont restart after 10mins I run out of memory just by auditioning loops( seems to me as some sort of memory leak).. I have been in contact with tech support and they have no help with this matter ...
 I ask CAN CW pls stop the run around and tell us if x1c is being released soon and what will be the fixes?  YOU think that being so secretive about X1c is the right course of action and in fact its the wrong course of action , I myself have been waiting a year for a useable version of x1..and with the way it stands as of now Im so pissed off that,  I can use any other DAW on my system without any limitations but Sonar Crashes, so too much and is so UNstable its pathetic .. If you at least told us OK guys were working on X1c and so far this is whats being fixed or trying to be fixed, you would stop half these terrible post from pissed of customers cause I would shut my mouth and just wait. I have a paper weight as a DAW, and have no clue if my issue/issues are even being looked.
  If my issue's are not being fixed or looked at I will be on way and will never use CW products again ..PLS stop wasting my time and others with generic posts as to ," You dont know for sure if x1b was the last fix , well obviously you already know the answers , the cloak and dagger way Cw is preceding says to me you dont give a crap about your customers you want them to wait limbo and pull there nails out and hope .. A simple post yes x1c will be released in this time frame and as of now will consist of these fixes.. what your doing is stringing along users that are having problems and you want to keep them as a customer as long as possible, I personally think CW needs to rethink how they can handle this..  Pls dont take this a rant or any thing in a negative way , You should put yourself in our shoes. You know there's problems and there being fixed why make us wait. Pick up the phone call the developers over in Boston or where ever they code this software, and ask for a time frame and a list of fixes,.. Is that hard..  In the End All I want to do is make music and Sonar x1 isn't happening for me ..

WOW Chucke I would of never thought you would of made the switch. I always seen you help out others on here and though your a die hard Cakewalker as I.. WOW CW is losing so many Loyal customers, Pathetic really is.. X1 is a joke played on us. , 
 as far as another daw goes I been using S1 but can't get into the groove I been with Cw since 2001 and have upgraded every year.. Prior to that I was using Studio Vision Pro.. in the 90's .( best Daw Ever ).. Now it looks like I must find another solution. Cubase's demo requires a dongel and I dont have one so paying 30 bucks to try out Cubase not knowing if I can pick up on it, well isn't something I wanna do just yet ..  
 

Well, those same people have kept me hanging around too.  Noel, Seth, Ryan, Willie........they are GREAT.  I actually don't have much of a problem with Cakewalk's tech support or customer support....I simply have had WAY TOO MANY problems with X1.  I spend more time chasing demons than making music.

You should demo Studio One.  I did...demoed it for 1 hour...and bought the whole thing.  SICK.  VST3, Gapless Audio, great midi mapping.  I am actually making music now.   I was actally angry when it was released, because it smoked Sonar with some of the basics and it was a brand new DAW!

WIth that being said, I still like to do "booth tracking" with Sonar.  Love the prochannel and mixdown with Sonar.   I am also not giving up on Sonar altogether....will continue of monitor forums (everyday...just like right now), and try to help where I can.  I am praying to GOD that X2 is a vast improvement.   I am pretty sure that they know they need to catch up with alot of things, so we will see.

As far as music production (I do alot of hip hop, dance, remixes, etc), Studio One is just plain crazy.  It takes a minute to wrap your head around, but man....it really is something different (in a good way).

Check out the "joined date".....I am not some newcomer just wanting to stir up trouble.  I have the entire v-studio system (audio interface and controller).

I don't know if this might be part of the problem but in Vista and W7 there has been a problem with an exe file called audiodg.exe ... look it up. It has a memory leak and has caused some problems, don't know if it is involved in yours though. I posted a question about it on the computers forum but got no answers. It was causing one of my cores to hit 100% at times. There is a workaround and a hotfix. If you have Norton 360 it should have a record of any audio problems.
 
Anyway, just a thought... it might be part of your problem too. One thing you can do to help in W7 is to turn off all enhancements on "speakers and headphones" and on "communication headphones".
 
I wish someone else would chime in on this file (it is a system32 file).

Check the computers forum, I put a link to the hotfix from MS but I have not used it yet. I did disable all the enhancements by right clicking the speaker icon on the taskbar>playback devices>double click the devices that are displayed>click the enhancements tab. It seems that sometimes this file does something with other sound devices like your interface, a bug... I don't remember everything but there is a good bit of info on Google. I have not used it since I disabled the enhancements.
It seems like some said something about disabling it and then restarting it somehow... it confused me but I will study it some more if I keep having problems. If you find out anything I hope you'll post it.

On a similar vein auditioning patches in Dim Pro or Camel Audio's Alchemy Player will kill Sonar if you go through a few. Could be related?
