x1 & 8.5 on new PC

I'm about to set up a new PC (W7 64-bit) and will shortly order X1 for it.

Will I miss 8.5? Should I install 8.5 first?

What is the sequence for installing 8.5? I seem to recall that there were successive versions of 8.0 that had to be installed before 8.5.

    Only time will tell if you miss it.
    8.5.3 is the last update for 8.5

    if you bought the download upgrade of 8.5, it needs 8.x installed first
