X1 can't find Help file
I have X1b installed and Sonar can't find the Help file and gives this error message"Failed to launch help". Has anyone had this happen? Any suggestions on fixing it?. I have 8.53 and 8.31 also installed and I migrated preferences during install.

sharpdion23 Can you find the help file in your drive? Yes it's in the prog files/cakewalk/X1 directory. I used the default directory assignments. I even copied the help file and put it in a few other likely places like doc and settings. The file opens just fine When I installed X1, I installed each version until X1b and then I chose to launch the app for the first time.

Have you done a reboot since you installed just in case it is not picking up some registry items?

lorneyb2 Have you done a reboot since you installed just in case it is not picking up some registry items? I did a few reboots with the same problem. Yet I just did a fresh reboot and now it's finding Help. Other days it couldn't find Help also. Next time I'll just reboot. Since X1 has crashed a lot, I've done many reinstalls. So maybe after a crash it has a difficult time finding Help. Unfortunately for me X1 has been the most unstable version since Pro Audio 7.0 more than a decade ago.
