Beatscape not available in 64bit install?

Beatscape not available in 64bit install?

I can't see beatscape in the menu when running 64bit X1 I have both 32 and 64 bit versions installed and it's there in the 32 bit version. Surely the bitbridge will allow me to use it in 64 bit?

Anyone know how I can get this working?

    make sure you have your vst settings in 64 bit set to scan your 32 bit plugs also.

    Hmmmm, okay this is now getting strange. I did as sykodelic suggested and set to scan the 32 bit plugs on my laptop and it worked fine. I did the same thing on my desktop PC and it won't work. I still can't see Beatscape. The only difference between the 2 machines is that the laptop has a clean install of X1 but the PC has been upgraded fron Sonar 7 thru 8.5 to X1. 7 & 8.5 have been removed.

    I tried a few times on the PC with no luck and Beatscape is definately their in 32 bit.

    Maybe I should uninstall and do a fresh install of just X1?

    Any ideas anyone?

    make sure you rescan the plugs after pointing to new location

    I tried this again last night. I rescanned failed plug ins and I still can't see it in 64 bit. I even added the Beatscape folder itself, still nothing.

    Does anyone have any other ideas? It's driving me nuts!

    Beatscape is 32bit only. It runs through Bitbridge.

    Beatscape is 32bit only. It runs through Bitbridge.

    I think from his original post he understands that.
    It should still show up bitbridge or not.  It shows up on my 64 bit machine.

    Buy Stylus RMX and never look back.  Just kidding that is what I did but you really should be able to get this to work.  It sounds like your doing everything right.

    Yeah I understand the bitbridge thing. Sykodelic's solution the other day worked perfectly on my laptop and I felt kinda dumb that I'd not sussed that out myself:)

    But when I do the same thing on the PC it just won't work.

    What if I was to unistall then reinstall Beatscape? Maybe I'll give that a try.

    I would try to reinstall beatscape---can't hurt....

    Yeah, I'll give it a go this evening. I'll post the result.

    If that doesn't work I'm thinking I'll uninstall everything and start again, obviously just with X1 as I'm wondering if uninstalling 7 and 8.5 might have caused a problem.

    If it was me I would do fresh install of X1 or even better a fresh windows install and then x1.

    Hmmm I'd definately rather not go down the Windows reinstall path:)

    I'll try with just Beatscape and if that doesn't work I'll completely uninstall X1 and everything that came with Sonar 7 Pro Suite (Project 5 and the full versions of Rapture and Dim Pro). Even the thought of reinstalling all that is not a good one.

    Alrighty, I got it working.

    When I looked in the Progran files folder there were still folder from V7 & V8.5 even though they have been uninstalled, so for the sake of tidyness I decided to uninstall everything and start again. .

    So far I've re-installed X1 with the a & b updates in both 32 & 64 bit and Beatscape which can now be seen in the 64 bit menu and is working:).

    I've still to re-install Rapture + updates and expansions, Dim Pro + updates and expansions, Ozone 4 and Project 5 (which I never use so might not bother).

    Thanks again for the help and advice sykodelic. I'm on vacation next week and plan to work through the Groove 3 tutorials so I can finally getto grips with thisawesome software:)
