Can I manually input sustain pedal control after creating notes with mouse in PRV?

I have a midi piano performance that has no sustain pedal information. How would I go about manually inserting sustain pedal data?

Please dumb it down as much as possible as I've never played with this kind of thing before.

Thanks!

You can enter the MIDI control code. For Sustain Pedal the code is 64 and the value is 0 of off and 127 for on.

Sonar Home Studio will allow you to enter Control Codes by name in the midi event pane below the piano roll view.By using the lower pane you can visually see where they are going in relative to the midi notes shown in the upper pane.

I believe that SHS7 calls the lower pane the "Controller Pane".  There is a button at the top of the piano roll view to turn it on an off.  If you can't see it, hover your mouse at the bottom of the piano roll and the cursor will become two horizontal bars.  At that point click and drag up.

The HELP should have some info to help work with the piano roll view and the controller pane.

You can also enter the codes directly into the Event List which may be what Dave was referring to.
