Midi track options for instrument tracks

Simple questions:

Is there a way to get the midi options to appear for a simple instrument track? I can't seem to make it so. It only shows the output track like a normal audio track:








Also.. I have a particular midi track that when armed the record button becomes a "Q". Thoughts? It works like normal. Heh.

Wow! Both fairly obvious answers!

You rock Seth. I'd never noticed the tabs there! Also, midi input quantize is the parameter I was trying to get on the instrument track. I was playing around with it on a dummy midi track to try and find it on the instrument track, so of course it was enabled. 

Evidently the logic of there being a 'Q' in the record button after enabling Input quantize was just too much of a departure for my poor brain at the moment ;)
