Keystrokes stopped working

I don't know quite when this started happening because I've stopped using X1 for the most part, but was testing something in X1 just noticed that I can't close a project or X1 with the normal Windows keystrokes CTRL-W or Alt-F4.  X1 is in focus and I can use ALT-F, Exit, but thought it odd that these shortcuts had disappeared.   I did a clean uninstall/reinstall of X1 a couple of weeks ago.

I can close it if I click on the upper right "X" whereupon I get the reassuring post-close SonarPDR.exe crash so at least that that 8-month old   "feature" is still intact.
