Two Installations?
Hey guys - sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere but i cant find it. I've been using Le 4 for a few years and as I've upgraded my system decided to finally bite the bullet and upgrade to 8.5. While version 4 allowed in excess of 32 tracks of audio 8.5 doesnt. This is a pain but i can work round it. However it would be great to be able to access the older versions to see just where i've put certain tracks before i reconfigure them for 8.5. Is it possible to install 4 elsewhere on my system without buggering up the newer install? Thanks :)

You don't need to install 4 "elsewhere". Just install 8.5 normally and the two versions automatically co-exist peacefully.
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

Actually 8.5 overwrote 4.. But i do like the idea of them both co-existing peacefully with mutual tolerance and understanding - Thanks guys :)
Pentium 4/1.6 Ghz, I Gig RAM, XP SP2, E-MU 1212, Sonar LE I'd rather a bottle in front of me...

That is unusual. At one time I had Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24 and SONAR Home Studio 6 on the same machine. I don't recall any option to overwrite; they just installed normally.
