Sonar 8.5 producer wont let me create and save

When I open up a project and make some changes, it wont allow me to save.  The program freezes....then as soon as I click, it gives me two options:  To find the problem online or to close the program.  My comp is not hooked up to the internet. 
 
I cant even create a new project.  The same thing happens. 
I cant even open a project and import in audio.
What is wrong???
 
 
Any help would be great!  Newbie here.

    Need more info. Computer specs, soundcard, etc. What's the exact error message?

    Probably a dumb reply, but in Windows, if you right click on the folder you are trying to save your project to <you can find it in settings/global>, if you go to properties, does it by any chance have a check mark next to READ?
    If so, uncheck that and you're good!
