I hope everyone has a great time.

    It won't be too hot here, but it will be clear and, since Washington allows decent fireworks, it will be loud and colorful!

    Nice.  The worst of the hot weather will be inland.  It's not so terrible right where I'm at--a few miles away from the coast.  It is a little humid, though. 

    Because of the heat and lack of water--and in some cases, lack of funding--a few towns have cancelled the fireworks.

    Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

    I'll be working, but I'll still enjoy it.
    But speaking of work, I went to our jewelry counter the other day looking for a simple American flag lapel pin to wear on the Fourth and they didn't have any. Never had any. You'd think the very picture of American retail success would have something like that, but noooo...
    Thankfully, the didn't have Chinese flag lapel pins, too.
