Philz - The 4th of July

Thanking you for the plug, and adding that this tune was partially re-recorded by Bapu & Son and re-mixed by Bapu with some guidance from Danny.

Speaking of The 4th of July that very same holiday is referenced in a line of a great old R&B classic, Walking the Dog by Rufus Thomas.  In fact, that would be a cool tune to cover

I thought it was meant to be a song about how badly 'America' treated its Vietnam veterans?

    Yes, you're right Steve.

We have to take the good with the bad and recognize the Vietnam veterans that were treated badly at the time.  I'm glad we treat our veterans better now, but I think we can do better.
