Good one! I could hear the brakes locking up and tires screeching to halt from here.

    Bachelor Boy - Cliff Richard.

Dry your eyes mate - The Streets.

    That's the nearest I got.

Plenty of voluntary ones I would have thought but 'Incel' is most definitely under-served.  (literally I think, too)

I couldn't think of a one... so maybe it was my own mental brakes I heard locking up? I did momentarily think of that Metallica song about the guy with his head in a metal box... but women are known for having a soft spot for such things and he no doubt could've scored if he hadn't wanted to die... I don't know. I'm going back to the pool and drink.

You did? Well you'd best hurry back and get 'em... they covet such things up there and you might not ever find them again. I don't know. I'm going back to the pool and drink some more. I'm out of beer but a kind hearted lass is servin' me gin and tonics... feck it's hot as hell here today.

93? I had it pegged for 97, 98... must be the gin or the ladies adding the extra degrees... I've since commandiered the laptop of a young hooligan and confirmed you're right on the money. Feels humid too.
