AMAZON or The AMAZON

does the Beagle shop there....

or is he planning a trip there to visit CJ???

I am confused on this , and what does this have to do with the Bell

The decibel symbol is often qualified with a suffix, that indicates which reference quantity or frequency weighting function has been used. For example, dBm indicates that the reference quantity is one milliwatt, while dBu is referenced to 0.775 volts rms
The definitions of the decibel and bel use logarithms to base 10. The  neper, an alternative logarithmic ratio unit sometimes used, uses the natural logarithm (base e).[3]

OR THIS???

The decibel originates from methods used to quantify reductions in audio levels in telephone circuits. These losses were originally measured in units of Miles of Standard Cable (MSC), where 1 MSC corresponded to the loss of power over a 1 mile (approximately 1.6 km) length of standard telephone cable at a frequency of 5000 radians per second (795.8 Hz), and roughly matched the smallest attenuation detectable to an average listener. Standard telephone cable was defined as "a cable having uniformly distributed resistance of 88 ohms per loop mile and uniformly distributed shunt capacitance of .054 microfarad per mile" (approximately 19 gauge).[

The AMAZON is how the old folks say it.

AMAZON is what the young kids say.

We 'tweensters' (i.e. 40-59 year olds) call it 'online'.

I thought db was what the British call a lb. Maybe I'm confused too?!?

It's just up the road from here actually mate; for obvious photo-opportunity related reasons, they've decided to take down the village sign!

And thank you for thinking of Plummy - he's still a little sore after my marathon bike ride

One is a massively powerful force that can create or destroy at will.
    The other is a river.
