Midi Player stopped working

Midi Player stopped working

I have a keyrig49 and it has worked in Sonar for a few weeks now, but today it won't work. I did all of the steps to set it up, it is checked as my MIDI device in Preferences but it won't work.

I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, I tried restarting the program and my computer. But it won't work no matter what I do.

I don't know if it is common for MIDI devices to fail, but please help, or tell me what I'm doing wrong.

    when you check it as your MIDI INPUT device, then click OK and close the window, if you go back is it still checked?

    Are you sure the problem is the controller and not a configuration issue? What exactly do you mean by "won't work"?
