SOLVED - Mp3 Export Options - how do I set a default?

How do I Save a preset MP3 Export Option as a Default, so I don't have to keep getting the "MP3 Export Option" window and have to select the same slider bar selections every time?

I have paid and registered the CW-Shop encoder, although it is the same issue with the free lame encoder (but of course, with the CW version, it is tied into the process bar)

Have a look at THIS POST although that is for lame I guess it'll be similar for other mp3 encoders.

    Thanks FBB for the reply...

What I really want is an improvement on the MP3 Export Options window...

When I'm in Sonar's Export Audio Window and create a preset with selected Sample Rate, Bit depth, etc, and press Export, I then get a window entitled, MP3 Export Options - I don't want to have to re-select all my standard options (eg. Bit Rate, Quality slider, etc) everytime I am in a new session.

I would like there to be a default that remembers these standard settings in this MP3 Export Options window.

If you have a look at the thread FBB mentioned you'll see that setting up Lame that way incorporates putting in a permanent Command line which gives the Lame encoder all it needs in terms of sampe rate, etc. which means when you export to MP3 everything fires off automatically to give you your MP3 with no other windows, popups, choices, etc to make.

    Hey, thanks for the reply.

I had forgotten the last step : to select the "Files of type" to the Lame Mp3 Encoder file I just set up with my command line - I had left it at MP3. (duh!)

I used the lame command-line parameters listed at http://lame.cvs.sourcefor.../doc/html/switchs.html

Thanks to all for the replies.
