the Cavendish interview
He just won the sprint finish from 10 places back. He's from the Isle of Mann. If you can understand a word of what he is saying... you can learn a awful lot about bicycle racing. It was gold! I don't know where to link it. I just saw it on NBC sports online... but I imagine it was shared pool and can be found everywhere. best regards, mike here's the link: http://youtu.be/cCoACRwOzfw

Understand him (Cavendish)? I'm still working on understanding Mooch. And I met him (Mooch) face to face.

I haven't seen today's coverage yet. Yesterday's race ending was really good though.

I thought I found it but I didn't here's a transcript I found: Wed, 06 Jul 17:27:57 2011 It was hard. It was a proper hard stage! _ Not just the last couple of kilometers but the last 20 kilometers but my _ team-mates were incredible. They were keeping me there, they were riding hard, _ they were riding in the wind and they did a great job. Even though I got _ pushed back near the end, they were keeping the pace high so it was all strung _ out and I was able to come from behind so I'm really happy with that. It was _ difficult and I'll need a good massage tonight but I'm really pleased. _ _ It was a difficult finish and there were a _ lot of other guys up there for the finale Geraint Thomas in the white, Brad _ Wiggins, Thor Hushovd, Rojas, Gilbert it was a difficult sprint from only a _ small group. It was hard to stay at the front. I had to go 100 per cent to win _ that one! _ _ I was pushed back with a couple of _ kilometers to go. André Greipel came in with his big legs and kind of knocked _ me, and we saw the other day that, when there's a big guy on me, I can't do _ anything. I was just behind and I thought, That's it now I'll just have to go _ for the green jersey points.' I just thought I'd salvage a few points but Bradley _ Wiggins was there, Geraint Thomas was there and they just went! With a couple _ of hundred meters to go I had to give it everything. I really didn't think I'd _ win but I got my acceleration I got the jump alongside Gilbert and, really, _ my legs were burning it was really hard actually. I was coming, coming, coming _ and I was really surprised that I won. I came from quite far back but I'm _ really happy. _ _ It was uphill man! Coming up to three _ kilometers to go, that was hard! That was a climb and I was on the edge of my _ saddle and then it went down and it was quite technical and we like technical _ but the uphill in the final kilometers really hurt. I've won harder before but _ I've also been dropped on easier so at least it's a sign that my form is good. _ _

batsbrew IF HE DID NOT DO ANY DRUGS, THEN I'M IMPRESSED. You're referring to an extremely tired little man in very tight pants remember. (or does that not matter?)
