Ctrl+F6 & Ctrl+Shift+F6

I have been struggling with editing in X1 since the F9 and F10 have been taken away.
According to the menu system Ctrl+F6 and Ctrl+Shift+F6 are their replacement.  However, Ctrl+F6 doesn't work whilst Ctrl+Shift+F6 does.  Is it possible to correct this situation?

Check your key bindings for Ctrl+F6 - maybe it's been overwritten with something else.

I just assigned F9 and F10 back to what they were since the beginning of Cakewalk.  That will overwrite those keys functions for selecting tools, but I use the HUD for that instead.
