Is there an easy way to move all imported events to another channel in Sonar X1

I am probably missing something blindly obvious here but:
When I import a MIDI Format 1 file with events on say MIDI Channel 12, and set the Sonar MIDI Track Output to say MIDI Channel 2, then Sonar sends the imported events, and any controllers I have added, to Channel 2 as expected.
However, if I save the modified file as a *CWP file, when I open the file again and check the events list, I find all the events, including the controller events I have added, are on MIDI Channel 12 not 2. So, Sonar appears to be rerouting the events, but not actually hard-wiring them to the new channel as I require.
Many Thanks

    1. Select the track.
    2. Enter a new Chn (channel) value in the Event Inspector module, which is located in the Control Bar.

Many thanks for saving me a great deal of editing in the unfriendly Events List. I often have this problem when importing Parts from large orchestral scores authored in Finale.
The Event Inspector module was actually “Off-Screen”, not that I would have though to use it without your help. Your Sonar X1 Power book will be very helpful if I can source it in the UK.

Alan, you won't have to look very far:

Just ignore the "review" by Ageingrocker - sounds like a cubendo spy if you ask me.

Thanks, it's ordered, a good offer too. I don't pay too much attention to negative reviews if there are also very positive ones, as the latter are generally the honest ones. It's easy to complain, but we don't often compliment.

    Many thanks

Hi Alan... no problem. I'm glad I could help and thanks very much for ordering my book. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey Colin... thanks for letting me know about that Amazon UK page. I've posted some comments to the reviews there and let Ageing Rocker know that he was totally off-base. Sometimes I really don't understand where people are coming from... comments like that, which are so far off the mark, are just plain strange.
