hhmmm.... the RND Portico plugs were supposed to be available soon as well... but that was back in Dec/Jan... apparently something has gone awry behind the scenes? I posed the ? to the Mod's on the Cubase forum and received only silence(par for the course in Steiny land) and then after a brief exchange with an old friend there about another old friend who was wrongfully banned, the pricks deleted my thread(also par for the course in Steinyville). Edit: I stand corrected! I see the RND plugs are now available. I guess we'll now find out if VCM tech breathes new life into current modeling or not. Double Edit: Holy $#%*... the price for the Portico EQ alone is $499?!? I was expecting somewhere in the range of $100-$200. Sorry Rupert, but that's a little rich for my bank account.

Yes that's right, isn't it? Good old paranoid Dongle protection. For a time I used to have in my sig on the old forum: "Hey, Steiny, tickle me dongle" We had a few good debates over there on that paranoid protection scheme. Hopefully the Yamaha vintage plugs will be a little more sensibly priced.
