She's not out golfing with OJ, just yet. I've been on a few juries, I see how the evidence is the most import thing the jury is told to use to make their decision. Apparently, the evidence wasn't there for the murder counts. I don't think she'll get off scot free, though. Like MM100 said, Karma will eventually catch up with her.

Just as a monetary system can only approximate through tokenism, true worth, so can a judicial system only get as close as it can to real justice.
Whilst these things may throw up glaring anomolies that are sometimes difficult for all of us to bear the US can take pride in trying to administer the fairest possible systems of finding justice yet known to the flawed nature of humanity.
Karma, or the very laws of cause and effect however are very precise, that wretched and pathetic figure, be assured will not escape any consequence of her behaviour that she is truly due a return on.
I just give thanks that I wasn't called upon to consider that particular case, and as is true of so many of these kinds of cases there are none of the winners and losers we'd perhaps like, only tragedy.
Kahlil Gibrahn reminds me to have faith in these circumstances.

I've actually been trying to avoid the media hype about the case. I've been on a jury or two and I know how they work. It's very specific to whether or not the evidence supports the question of guilt as argued by the prosecution. Sometimes, the damning evidence is not even allowed for various reasons. A lot of the time, the public gets to see evidence that the jury does not--that's for a variety of reasons. That's what happened with OJ.
In a few interviews with jurors, they said that they wanted to convict her, but the evidence wasn't there to support the decision. The jurors did their job as best they could, don't be angry with them.
As far as Karma goes, it may be starting already. All of her old drinking buddies have stated on camera that they don't want to have anything to do with her. What would YOU say on camera. Let's hope they're true to their words. It will be a start. She still has to live with herself--if she indeed was to blame, that will be good enough for me.

Being let out this early might not be in her best interest as the public is still outraged at the verdict/crime done to this helpless child. She'll be constantly under the spotlight for some time and I'm sure employment and general living conditions will be difficult.
Like Jan said "she has to live with herself" which is one of the hardest things for anyone to do, but she doesn't seem to have a conscience and has a cancerous talent in habitually lying. If she doesn't suffer in this life, the next will be eternal.
