Pentagon 1 Patch "Nothing" caused loud pop/stop sound engine[Tech Support confirmed issue]

Edit :

Just an update, the patch "Nothing" is confirmed to be a problem and can be re-created by tech support.

According to tech support, this patch will either be fixed or removed in future update, and is to be avoided for the time being.

NOTE : if you have to test it, TURN off your speaker and headphone volume, select the patch, then only turn on the headphone volume a little.

Pls completely turn off your powered monitor, if you are running your audio interface output directly, especially if you do not have a mixer to lower the speaker volume.
-----------------

After I managed to load Pentagon 1 in X1 (have to run as admin in Win7) .. I was checking out the sound randomly till I selected the patch called "Nothing" ... then it caused a loud "pop" and the sound goes dead ..you can still operate X1, but without sound. Closing X1 again caused the loud pop sound once more..

Restarting X1 is fine.. until "Nothing" is selected again..

So, I'm asking if this reproducible / known issue, and at the same time asking you to stay away from this patch.. :)

Turn off your powered monitor.. and perhaps test with the headphone with really low volume !

I'm probably being a smart ass here but....

Sounds like the name of the patch describes what it does quite accurately.  Select the patch, then POP and nothing.:)

OK,  I tried 'Nothing" here, and it seems to be "just" another nice pad.  Sounds like there are some problems with your sound font?

    Thanks for the reply gcolbert.

Well.. that is the hard part to figure out.. not being familiar with the sound programming until I fiddle with it more to try and narrow down to a sound font file (?)
