Creating a custom drum set with Sonar X1 Essential?

I would like to create my own drum set based on the samples included with Sonar X1 Essential. I would like this new drum set to run on a single instance of a software synth. I don't care if it is Dimension LE or DropZone. Can it be done?

This drum set would include (For example);
75%Left kick drum, Center kick drum, 75%Right kick drum, Tom A-major left, Tom A-major Right, Tom B-major left, Tom B-major Right, Tom C-major left, Tom C-major Right, Tom D-major left, Tom D-major Right, Tom E-major left, Tom E-major Right, Tom F-major left, Tom F-major Right, Tom G-major left, Tom G-major Right, Wood Block A-major left, Wood Block A-major Right, Wood Block B-major left, Wood Block B-major Right, Wood Block C-major left, Wood Block C-major Right, Wood Block D-major left, Wood Block D-major Right, Wood Block E-major left, Wood Block E-major Right, Wood Block F-major left, Wood Block F-major Right, Wood Block G-major left, Wood Block G-major Right, High hat A-major left, etc...

I want the velocity setting in the piano roll to adjust the volume of Each and Every drum hit independently.

Can it be done? How?

    in Dim LE sure.

the velocity is dependant on the SFZ programming you do,

open up the sounds in an existing SFZ for a drum program in a text editor (e.g. notepad) and you'll see how it's done

That looks do-able. It has been eons since I worked on C/C++ and Assembly code and there talking about boolean logic. I avoided boolean logic at all costs with what I was working on back then. lol

I'm guessing it would be kind of like this...
So for safety reasons, I grab all the different drum samples (.wav files) I would like, and copy them into a new folder on my hard drive specifically for my custome drum set. Then I make a sfz file in that folder to define how all the samples map out on the piano roll in the soft-synth? I'm hopeful there is a sfz setting for pitch control to get the different notes I would like for some drum pieces?

Then I simply open up the soft synth, and load the sfz file as the per-say instrument? I noticed some instruments use a "prog" file type, are they usable, or do I need to capture the sound from those? I didn't actually look in the drum sample folders to see what is there for files yet... I'll do that next, after reading the rest on these "sfz" files.

I wonder if I can capture that link as a pdf for a local copy of that page. there is allot there I'll be referencing allot.

This is working perfectly, with the assistance of something called wave studio... I've managed to compile most of the kick drums and hats I like into a single instrument. Wave studio did a good job of mixing the left and right parts of each drum so I could pan each drum to the left or right as well as having the original default center.

The toms may take a little longer as there are so many of them, and there already paned to an extent.

    Thank you.

    P.S.
I was dragging samples into DropZone to hear them individually as I was selecting drum instruments for my drum set. There are some samples that are encrypted to prevent them being used this way I guess. They produce annoying noises in DropZone when played. That dose not matter as I found others to use. If they do not want me to use there drum set, then I'll use another one.

well the mapping is the main thing.. it's not too bad.. I mean you can start off basically by specifying the keys / samples.. and adding to it.. OR doing it via SD itself.

it's more like html / markup language.. so not too bad compared to c++ / java etc :)
