Any way to create global meter settings?

I cannot find a way to make my meter settings global. I generally have a set up that I always use for meters. I always set them like this but it seems to only work for a given project. The other thing I find is that track and console views have independent meter settings. When you get into record, playback, buss and mains meters X 2 views, that's a lot of clicks to set up my meters.

There's a number of things that X1 seems to handle this way. Although it greatly free's up your options, I am a creature of habit and would like some of the project-by-project settings to become always and forever-more settings. Sometimes too many options is as bad as no options. Hoping there's a key in the AUD.INI file that I can set but unable to find it. Thanks.

    Setup a default project the way you like it and save it as a template. Then just open the template for each new project.
