Odd envelope behavior in X1? [VIDEO ATTACHED]

The video says it all. Create an envelope, it doesn't do anything. Project can't be mixed. Gotta start over in 8.5. Should have known better.

Anyone else see this and if so, were you able to rectify it before scrapping the project? As you can see in the video it's 17 tracks long ...

    Does this also happen when you manually put the envelope in?

    No it was not working when I manually edited the envelope. I even deleted it several times and re-added it and it didn't work.

    UPDATE: I just tried to play the project again and out of the blue it started working ... so I have no idea what was wrong.

    Maybe on top of having auto-save set to save every 60 seconds, I should restart X1 every 60 seconds as well? Couldn't hurt I guess, but my songs will have to be a lot shorter. ;)

    That's the way it works when you're in offset mode (letter O on keyboard), but I don't see any plus signs next to controls so I'm not sure what might have happened.
