Simple Instrument Track in 64bit

Not sure if this bug or not could be a missing setting somewhere.  Any Vst instrument that I insert as a simple instrument same as I been doing for years only in 32 bit , I have no volume control for that instrument until I split the track then lower the audio part.. as a simple instrument in 32 bit I could just lower that volume and be good..  It defeats the purpose of the word Simple.

Computer - Intel Q9550, Intel BX48bt2 MB, W8 64 bit. 8 gb Ram, SSD  
Hardware - Tascam Fw1884 Control surface only, Ni S49 Komplete Kontroll,Roland Quad Capture, Ni Machine,Kore, Focusrite A/D converter, Blue Mic, Roland Gaia, Akai Mpk49, Yamaha HS80 Monitors.
Software - Sonar Platinum , Vengeance VPS bundle,Sugar Bytes Effectrix, Turnado, NI Komplete 10 Ultimate, Dune, Rob Papen  Blade , Delay, Punch Evolved.

    Go up to the Track Control (a.k.a. Widget Manager) listbox above the track headers, and set it to All, or open up that Track Control Manager, and make sure the Vol box is checked for Instrument Strips in whichever preset you are using. All the widget presets are customizable, not just the "Custom" one.

    Thank You So Much U da Man.. in a million years I would of never though of that . Works perfect..Thanks Again...
       The weird thing is I never messed with the widget manager, that was set off by default , I never had to do that in any other version of sonar..
