Konatakt in Sonar question?

Hi,

I would like to load Kontakt into Sonar, without multiple outs, and then add outs as I go.  Is this possible with Sonar?

I don't want to send to busses, but I want to be able to add tracks and route instruments from Kontakt to those tracks
as I go.

Thanks for any info :D

    Pacific,

That is the best way to do this instead of loading all of the outs during the insertion of the plugin.

I have found that unused audio tracks from Kontakt take significant CPU cycles even when NOT IN USE.

All you have to do is add audio tracks and set their INPUT to be a set or single audio outputs from the KONTAKT engine (they will be available in the drop down menu) and then obviously route your instruments to whatever "KONTAKT" outputs you want to use and have those KONTAKT outputs routed to the physical outputs to SONAR (within KONTAKT).

    Good question and good results.

    Thanks, Jim.

I was looking for outputs from the Kontakt track, but I see that you have to go FROM the track you want to send to, and use the
    input dropdown menu.  Works Great!

    Thanks!:D

Couldn't you clone the Kontakt track without copying events, and then change the MIDI channel?
