BIAB 2011.5 MEH!!!

I just received my email notification of the BIAB 2011.5 .I have 2011, the HD pak.
There are some interesting real tracks included, some iphone apps for remote control, a stretching algorithm ,
.I am trying to get enthused about it, but I cant get the CC out right now...

any thoughts from BIAB users?

    Much the same as you.

I don't remember the .5 update being a paid update before, is this a first?

I typically skip the summer edition and usually upgrade once a year in November/December, so I've not even really looked at what they have done for the 2011.5 version since I'm not super interested in buying it.

if someone tells me it's "all that" and I could make hit records with it if I buy it then I might have to at least go look.  but as it is...meh.

Maybe they adopted Cakewalks/Waves/Avids business model?

    Looks like it.

I just checked the 2010.5 build updates and they can be applied to any 2010 build.

So that's a 'meh!!' from me too.

I usually only upgrade every other year.  I don't use BIAB as much as I used to.
