Anyone else have this Problem with handles? Solved I THINK
The handles on Midi data in the PRV in X1... They will be there and everything is good. Then they dissappear. Then they magically reappear. Right now they are gone. How do I get them back? THe "Show Controller Handles" is checked. Is there a toggle switch somewhere that I am accidentally hitting? Thanks in advance to anyone who knows about this..

Hmmm - sounds like a glitch. With "Show Controller Handles" checked, they should be there. I'm actually here to tell you that even though you want those always visible, I want you to know why I go out of my way to make sure they are never on: --With the handles off, and the Grid off, by holding CTRL while sweeping through the handle-less data, you can do editing much more smoothly and quickly. You just can't do the same thing with handles on. There's one annoying exception to my handle-less approach - If you're editing CC64 data, with the handles off, you can't see the sustain Off events - you need handles turned on to see those, unfortunately. You need an answer to your question, sorry I don't have one, but I wanted to pass on some info so you might be encouraged to try out what I'm talking about. I truly find editing much faster and easier with those usually off. Randy B.

Not sure what you mean by handles but I have noticed depending on the Zoom level, I can have notes disappear. If I drag the cursor back and forth, sometimes I can even make them come and go. However they are not gone, the notes still play correctly. Zooming in or out seems to clear it back up.

When you have the "display handles" option selected, each bit of data has a little flag-handle on its top. The idea is you grab the handle and push it up or down to change its value. But if you have handles off, you get just vertical lines without handles on top - and I find those much faster and easier to work with. As in my post, grid off, hold CTRL down, and you can chop the heads off of those vertical lines, or sweep through and change a big bunch as you go - really easy to do MIDI editing without the handles displayed. I'm not sure anyone cares much , but I think I have solved the problem. Not only where my handles not showing up, but cut and paste in X1 was not working either. I could past about a 1/2 measure of a midi track was all. I had messed a lot with the color scheme. I reset the colors to default (except for Track Folders and audio tracks. i have to have those look different!) It appears like everything is back to normal after resetting the colorsand a reboot. Since everthing was fine for a while with the color scheme different I get the feeling there is a memory or buffer issue, or perhaps a memory leak.
