"Some kind of alternative"

Hi,

I've got a new song out called "Some kind of alternative" - built in SONAR X1
you can check it out here:
http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10854991

I called it kind of "Motown" or 70's kind of "shuffle" sound...
(not sure though)

It contains the usual list of suspects:
- SONAR X1
- Superior Drums
- Trilian Bass
- VB3
- a little touch of Omnisphere
- and my trusty strat through a POD XT

As usual - any comments welcome.

I usually use ASIO set at 64 or 128 samples

    Hi John,

You definitely have a 70's vibe going on here.  I dig it.  Excellent guitar work!  Overall a really cool tune.

If this were my tune I'd be on my hands and knees begging Tony Pruden (Twisted6s) to do some vox for it. He would sound great on this (well, let's face it he'd probably still sound great underwater) and this would sound great with him on it. My advice is to send him a PM - what's the worst that can happen ?

Yeah, do a search for twisted6s and you can hear him in action.

    Groovy!
A tad busy with the guitar layers (riffs over wah) in a few spots but nice funky vibe.

really liking this. Love that hammond judt cooly doing its thing and all the gtr layers IMO work well & keep it interesting as an instrumental piece.
