Sonar X2 Soon?

I got an offer from Cakewalk to upgrade my old Sonar version to X1 Producer for $99.

Does that mean that Sonar X2 is right around the corner?

Seems like they've done this before. (Offer an upgrade just before the new version comes out.)

    Sonar X1C (not X2) will be released in August, according to CW here:

    Gary, how old is your "old Sonar version"?
     
    I have 5.2 and I’d get X1 if I could for $99.
