Video of song posted earlier
Here's a video for the song I posted a few weeks back. Lots of old memories in the video plus a couple of old bandmates. The volume is a lot lower than it was on the version posted earlier. Don't know what youtube is doing to the audio nowadays. So crank up the volume. Hope you'll give it a look. Thanks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4niG-S-E93o

Hey, Charlie, Man, great job on this very cool video! I really loved the song when you posted it last month, but the concept portrayed in the video really makes the song come across even better, and brings it to life. I just started fooling around with video production about two months ago, and I'm hoping to post one here by the fall. Anyway, really nice work, have a good one! Bob

Luke, thanks for watching and your comments. Glad you liked it. Bob, thanks a lot. Good luck on your videos. They can really add a lot to your song. My song was really not completely explained with the lyrics and I felt the video could complete the message. BIABDude, thanks. Glad you liked it. Jamx0r, the video was not supposed to be funny (mostly) because of the subject matter. But others have commented that it is. Maybe it's just something I can't get away from. It's my demeanor, I guess. In all my others, that is what I'm shooting for, though. Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Sorry, I fixated more on the feel of the tune and it struck me as comical. Checked out your "waiting around" video...also good, pretty funny to me as well.

Jamz0r, the 'Waitin' Around' one was supposed to be funny. I could be wrong but I'm wondering if you're being somewhat facetious?

Heh, not really. You just have a certain delivery that could make even the darkest subject matter seem light. Your videos remind of something Ray Stevens would come up with. Good stuff.

"You just have a certain delivery that could make even the darkest subject matter seem light. " Jamz0r, that could very well be the case. Always liked Ray Stevens singing on the serious stuff. And some of his silliness as well. Thanks for watching and for your comments.

Great tune. Loved the guitar tones. Made me think of all the guys I used to jam with back in my playing days. Many of them are gone now.

Well, I don't think it was funny or that way, but if you want my opinion, some of it, was stooped over it seems. The part about God forgiving you was the part with arms stretched over your head, that and some other parts where I guess you were standing up straighter. It does sound better louder, and it is loud enough for utube, but then there is always a limit and better equipment (recording studio or mixdowns) may end up louder depending on how much compression is used. I just prefer more bass than what I usually hear out of most songs here on this forum. But it all sounded good, except I am not so sure that I am turning up the volume all that loud anymore. Good overall though on the song and video.

I should have said - perhaps leaning towards the camera it seems. Well, that's all up to you anyway, just others had me wondering why they thought it was comical. --------------------------------------------------

When I was growing up my parents always said to me, "Boy, you better straighten up!" I corrected the sound problem. My fault, not youtube's. Although I blamed youtube. Thanks for listening, spacealf and for your comments.
