OMG --Groove clip Function ---makes the clips all ---wrong --wtf ?

Hi
what happenend to the strg+L function????? If I apply it to a recorded sequence , it will make the sequence which I turned into the groove clip sound all wrong , and put glitches in it . Why?

For example ---I record a part of my track to put a nice , weird tempo fall and rise manipulation at the end of the sequence (which is very nicely achievable in the grooveclip window) ; right about in the last beat ----so it would make a nice complex break , with panings and tuning manipulations at once ------- well now it changes the part which I have recorded when I press the groove clip function...it never did that before in 8.5.3 !!!
So the part made to a groove clip (which is exactly 8 bars ) is now all out of order ---strange ----------I do exact the same , as I did in 8.5.3

can one help ?

well ---it killed my day
