Annoying 8.5.3 Track Arming Behavior. Any ideas?
This has been bothering me for a while now, but I was just living with it till now. Alot of times, when I try to arm a track for recording (pressing the R of the MSR) via the specific Instrument Track), the Record (R) will not activate via my mouse click. I then usually have to select the Solo (S) button, and then turn around and deselect the Solo (S) button. If I do that, when I select the Record (R) button after that, it works. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

At times this has happened to me. I found that enabling the input echo widget sorts it =)

That's a weird one. I've never seen this happening with any version of Sonar.

It happens to me occasionally. Haven't figured out what causes it it but if my mouse click arming doesn't work, then I arm it with my faderport. That's my workaround.

I've never seen that behavior before. You mention instrument track... do you mean a soft synth simple instrument track, Midi track, or audio track?

Yeah I get this occasionally (MIDI, audio and instrument tracks). As with you, Solo on/off on that track then I can arm it. Irritating but not important IMHO.
