Can Sonar 8.5 Studio add accomp to my music

I have had Sonar 8.5 Studio for about a year, It has alot to offer but im not sure if Im getting everything out of it I was wondering if when I lay my chords into Sonar can I add different tracks such as a guitar loop from its bank that will adjust its melody to the key I am playing in, If so how?? I see alot of fills and instruments in media browser but if its midi when I click on the preview play button I dont hear anything, I can hear audio files fine.. I also have M-audio session and when I lay down my piano chords I can choose one of their guitar or whatever loops and it adjust the loop melody to the chord I am playing in, so it all is musically synced. Im praying sonar can do this, because Ive pratically used all of the loop melodies out of session. If sonar can't do this does anyone know where I can find software that will design melodies or bass lines off of the chords I play. It would make music alot easier for me!!

    If you can hear audio loops but not others, those may be Midi loops. To hear those in the media browser you need to select a Midi track that is output to a soft synth. You will hear the Midi clips through that synth. You can right click a groove clip after you insert it into a track and change its pitch in the Audio Stretching Tab. You may be able to edit the clip so it changes pitch automatically in a project but I've never had any success with that method. Maybe somebody else will be able to help you with that.

    there is a gizmo that I discovered that sets the project to a pitch that groov clips will allegedly follow. The only place I found to set it was in (I think) the markers toolbar. go figure.

    Cool. I always wondered how to do that. I tried it out and it works like a charm. It's funny how I could look at something a hundred times and never really notice it.
