"Farewell, Atlantis" chillout tribute to the US space shuttle program

"Farewell, Atlantis" is my 3-minute chillout tribute to 30 years of the United States space shuttle program. It's composed of royalty-free music loops sourced from Prime Loops' "Babylon Beats" and Bunker 8 Digital Labs' Downtempo Darkness Trilogy from Sounds To Sample. The vocal commentary was converted from the MP4 videocast (vodcast) on NASA's site (http://www.nasa.gov/mp4/5...s135_landing_pod.mp4).

I put this together in Sonar X1 Producer. The only FX used was Boost 11 on the master channel. Except for a noise artifact in the vocal commentary I deleted, the commentary runs straight through unedited.

You can download the full MP3 (192 kbs) from SoundCloud (http://soundcloud.com/trancedoctor/farewell-atlantis) or the Internet Archive (http://www.archive.org/details/FarewellAtlantis). The latter sounds a little fuller on my monitors.

Yes, I've let NASA know about it through their Facebook site and through a comment posting on their site about the STS-135 (Atlantis) mission.

Enjoy!
