Download Problem

Hello everyone. I am at the end of my rope trying to download my copy of Sonar 8 Producer & Studio. I just had a new tower built and I am reloading all of my software to it. I have "Win 7 Ultimate" that can run both 32 & 64 bit. I also have Internet Ex 9 downloaded. I did have Vista 32-64 bit before and had no problems. I have spent the last 14 hrs searching "CakeWalk", the Web. other forums, and trying everything. I also installed Java Platform that supports 32 & 64 bit. I put my disk in and nothing shows up on my screen. The software is doing something because I can hear it running. When it is finshed running a pop-up tells me that the install was not sucessful and just says "Code-1". I truely need some expert advise.  Thanks for any positive help ! ! !

    What software is on the disk?

    I think I'm misunderstanding the question...
    When version 8 came out it was not downloadable. Has that been changed?

    The first downloadable SONAR was 8.5, was it not?

    If "I put my disk in and nothing" means the install-disc then I'm on the map...

    SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
