    Sonny,
Vista and Win 7 are basically the same; follow the steps in the tutorial.
If you have any problems then send me a PM or email deeringamps aol.
The only difference may be the firewire setup. You may NOT have to roll back the driver to "Legacy".
You MUST have a TI chipset, that I am sure of.

Sonny, I can't stress enough how important it is with the FW-1884 to follow Tom's advice as published. His notes represent the collective wisdom of many of us who have worked with the unit and SONAR for years. About your statement that the DAW controls the faders, I'm puzzled. It is supposed to work both ways: the control surface faders move the on-screen faders, and vice versa. Could you please elaborate on what is happening (or not happening) with that?

Hardware: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd; Roland Integra-7; TCE Finalizer; Presonus Central Station, Behringer X-Touch.  Home built i7 with 16 GB RAM, SSDs.

    Sonny,
As Matt said the tutorial is the collective wisdom and experience of all the FW users here on the forum.
We are glad you are up and running.
Don't hesitate to ask if you run into any further issues.

    Take care...
