How do you specify a particular duration for MIDI notes?

I want to select a group of notes and specify a duration for them all. How can I do that?

I don't mean quantize the start times, I mean give all notes a specific duration value at once.

Someone on this forum once sent me a CAL script that would do it but I lost it after an upgrade.

Is there any other way?

    You can do that with the Event Inspector.

    Enter the desired duration in ticks per 1/4 note and hit the enter key and all selected notes will change to that duration. You can see how many ticks per 1/4 note in project options and do the match or right click a note that is the duration you want and see what its duration is and use that.

    The Event Inspector in 8.5 is one of the most unsung and unremembered toolbars in the entire Sonar package.

    I use this all the time when I'm composing in Midi, every single button gets used.
