The music and arrangements were awesome!!!
I would add a little bit of compression to the kick and guitars could be a bit more just my opinion....I'm not big on the death metal stuff...But i believe you've done an great job trying to achieve this genre...Now get back in there and make it Awesome!!!
    Good Luck,

hey dude, i really enjoyed your track! it was very refreshing in the current climate to hear something more influenced by 90s proggy stuff such as Watchtower, Atheist and Voivod (with a bit of post BM a la Ved Buens Ende) than the million notes an hour stuff of bands like Origin...musically it was simply superb, i could easily listen to an album of music like this. you do a great job of keeping the interest up. simply awesome ending!
Mix-wise it sounds ok, only listening on my laptop so hard to be too exact. some of the vox are a bit indistinct, but i guess this is a conscious decision. Drums could be a little punchier, but i know myself how hard that is to achieve! have you posted this over at sevenstring.org too? do, cos this would get better feedback over there!

    Wow man - really impressive.

This is right up my alley - reminds me a little of Swallow The Sun or Mar De Grises.......bit of Opeth in the mellow piece too.

Love it - will be looking out for your stuff.

Thanks for your replies!!! It's really good to hear that people are digging this after I spent so much time working on it! Honestly I don't listen to any of these bands you guys have mentioned, except Opeth. In this song I mainly took influences from Opeth, Enslaved, Korn, Decapitated, Ulcerate and Porcupine Tree. For those of you who want to hear more, just stay on the lookout. I'm moving to the next phase now, trying to put together a real band because I think this needs to be played live and soon!

mgh, I haven't posted at sevenstring.org, but I will now. Thanks for the tip. I hope it's ok even though my guitars only have 6 strings?

Not my style, but I'm quite impressed!  I wonder if the vocals should come up a little?  I had trouble hearing them at all.  Great job!

Great job overall. If it were me I'd pump the drums up 2db.
