Has anyone been to the National Space Centre in Leicester?

I'm thinking about taking the kids there for a day out next week.

Checking out their website, it looks really good - but if anyone's been there I'd really appreciate any feedback.

Thanks in advance

I've been there with the kids, it was last year so they should have cleaned up by now.

There are a lot of exhibits/displays, a couple of rockets, a russian capsule, a space mission simulator thingie, 3D simulator and one of those cinemas where they project films onto the ceiling and a cafe.

You can run round in 30 minutes or you can play with all the toys/exhibits and spend most of the day there.

    My kids enjoyed it.

Great, another thing to add to the 'to do' list for the Bapu's Moobs 2012 Armageddon Tour.

    Leicester has Rockets?

Mind you it has enough Indian Restaurants to propel them.
