PRV idea

Hi folks,

So I got Geist recently and really like it. I think what they did in one of their updates would be really good for the PRV in Sonar X1.

What I'm referring to is some of the tools you can use with the step automation. You can see it in this video

Specifically the way they have the offset and compression & randomizer, I think that would be great in the PRV for editing velocity, and other features. There's other stuff in there too but I think this would be really great for those of us who like to work in the PRV with MIDI

    That's pretty nifty, Windsurfer - thanks for posting the link.  The sorts of things he was doing would be very helpful for people doing that sort of loop based dance music.  These are features for a step sequencer though, not a PRV.

    I keep trying to remind people that the PRV is a fantastic step sequencer.

    So, in my opinion... any features that reinforce that impression can be a benefit.
