Can Someone Please Remind Me? -Inserting Multiple Nodes (Solved)

Hi Gang...

Never mind... I remember... another one of the new boundary functions.... Grabbing the envelope at the top of the clip (a bit strange but it works)....

Thanks anyway...

Keni

I can't believe I've forgotten this.... One of the X1 features I really like and was finally about to use it... Until I realized I don't remember how to access it... <sigh>...

I recall there is a method of click-drag to define a time range and then insert 4 nodes to enclose the range for the envelope...

How do I do this? I tried finding it in the X1 Docs I have as well as a little forum search (I can never remember how to use google to search this forum) but I've been unable to locate this...

Any help would be appreciated...

Much Thanks...
Keni

Select the area then left click and drag up or down in the top 1/4 of the clip. Fantastic feature

Select the region, and then take your mouse up toward the top of the clip where the cursor changes from crosshairs to the Move icon. Then click and drag up/down.

    Thanks FBB...

Our messages crossed in the posting... You'll see I just edited my post to thank everyone (and sort of apologize for everyone's time) as I finally remembered...

Yes, it's a great feature... and hopefully in the future we'll be able to define parameters for the nodes that are inserted. I think it's saving me time, but I typically have to go in and edit the nodes to have the appropriate curves and fade characteristics I need... I don't think anything will ever "solve" that as it's too unique to each situation... but defining a basic curve in/out as well as a basic node distance (defining the length of the curve) will be very welcome additions in the future...

    Thanks again...

Hi Keni. I've got my fingers crossed for tooltips indicating the envelopes on the ghosted data. Combined with the shift click to change that'll be really helpful, for me at least.

Thanks Brundlefly... You too must have been typing at the same time as us... ;-)

FBB... Me too... that would help things a LOT!
