HAVING A PROBLEM UPLOADING AUDIO ONTO NEW TRACK

IM TRYING TO RECORD SOME VOCALS ON TOP OF DOWNLOADED INSTRUMENTALS FROM MY COMPUTER, WHEN I TRY TO UPLOAD THE INSTRUMENTAL TRACK I GET A MESSAGE THAT SAYS.... DIRECTSHOW ERROR, NO COMBINATION OF FILTERS COULD BE FOUND TO RENDER THE STREAM.. I AM TOTALLY CLUELESS ON WHAT I SHOULD DO IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME I WOULD BE VERY GREATFUL

    Welcome to the forum.
    Where did you get the music? Are you sure they are audio and not MIDI?
    Which SONAR LE version are you using?

    the music i have is downloaded on my computer in Mp3 form when i try to upload it as MIDI theres nothing found but it finds all of my downloaded music as audio, and i have been able to upload certian songs but not all of them. the disc i have says Sonar LE Digital audio workstation i bought it as a bundle pack from bestbuy

    Do the mp3s play in Windows Media Player?
    Try this: when the Import Audio dialog window opens, click the Files of Type drop-down arrow and choose mp3 then the Bit Depth drop-down arrow and change it to the bit depth shown at the bottom of the SLE screen.
