Jamstix 2 plays Session Drummer 3 but only when the SD3 track is selected

Jamstix 2 plays Session Drummer 3 but only when the SD3 track is selected

I can get Jamstix 2 to play Session Drummer 3 in jam mode, but SD3 will only play when the SD3 track is selected.  So I can't jam on a piano midi track and hear SD3 at the same time.  Any way to do this?
