Is there a bypass all VST effect button? (Sonar X1)

I know you can bypass it on individual tracks, but can you do it for all tracks that have them?

I don't want it to bypass VST instruments though (if its even possible)

Yes. Either press the "FX" button in the control bar, or just hit E on the keyboard.

Thanks again!

Ironically doing that just doubled the vol for the fx send/bus track you just helped me with.  So it's pushing out the dry send.

Yeah, exactly. Whatever the effect on the bus is will now be off, so you're getting your send "as is" rather than processed. So yeah, a straight doubling of the sent track. I usually mute any effects busses too if I need to use the global bypass for a while, to avoid this very problem.

I really should not be adding effects at this point anyway.  I still have to track the vocals.  Obviously muting the bus does the trick.

Getting waves supertap pushed me over the edge to learn the send fx thing.

If you are looking to avoid the latency added by FX on busses, muting them won't solve your problem.  You may not hear the fx, but the delay compensation is still engaged in case you unmute them during playback.  You will want to bypass fx bin(s) (or better, "bypass fx bins of this type" for tracks and busses).
